Possum Palace

May 3, 2019

Poem concept.

Concept poetry.

Conceive Possum.

Hello Possum!

Boggled eyes.

Cuddly creature?

Can we have one?

Dad, it’s so cute!

Ok, let’s try.

Shake that branch.

Here it comes.

Try to catch it!

Claws embedded.

Screeching demon.

I scream louder.

Thrashing tussle.

Blood starts squirting.

Girl has vanished….

My throbbing dream,

I build Poss a Palace.

Fine brass fixtures.

A welcome sign.

Says, ‘Enter possum’.

Grudge forgotten?

Now enjoy your sleep!

A new gas chamber,

for a taloned creep!
