Twisted amber

March 12, 2019

I sweep away the barrier,

that keeps us both apart.

Shivers cut right through me,

as I reach towards your heart.

Your icy presence, a ghostly chill;

as I intrude beyond your frame;

inside your shell I seek the spell,

to pacify my brain.

I feel the urge, a growing need,

to bond with what's inside;

your potion’s power may be freed,

but sensations, I cannot hide!

I clutch this vessel desperately,

my mind appears to wander,

it drives desire for what's inside,

alas! I can but only ponder.

Yet my inner strength prevails,

as I drag myself well away;

from this can of fermented Larger,

that has made me feel this way.
